Good university that unfortunately cares more about image than students

TU Vienna is a great university, really good located in the center of Vienna. The main problems are that they have very little offer to practice what was learned during lectures and apply knowledge. It seems that they spend their money on increasing the public impression rather than on their students. What they forget here, is that the students are the future not only of the university but as well of a country. They are also a few extremely hard exams that only slow students down and that are unnecessary unfair. The dean and even the rector is aware of that and still, the professors can do whatever they want to do. I am wondering why professors have such extreme power? Besides the university is also lacking social activities. And voluntarily student organizations that offer services to students for free are not supported but in fact partly boycotted by the university internal Career Center. Also exchange opportunities in particular outside of Europe are very bad. The university has potential, sadly it is not using it.

We were formed to be Europe's top executives!

The UAS BFI Vienna is counted as a small university compared to the very near Vienna University of Economics. But leaving that apart, the UAS BFI Vienna has gained high recognition due to its europe-centred, highly practical studies. I finished my bachelor's degree in "European Economy and Business Management", which I can say, gave me a wide and rich vision on how to create, develop and manage a company on the European market. Right now I'm working for a multinational company based in Austria and my vision and mission is profoundly linked to start my career in Europe. Therefore I would encourage everyone to come and join our big European family!

Small

I like that it's not big , feels like a private university with a very friendly staff . With excellent and professional Lecturers. I would recommend it to invest more on Research and to have a bigger library.

Get prepared for WU

WU (German abbreviation derived from Wirtschaftsuniversität) is one of the best universities in Europe. One of the main aims of the university for the next years is to increase the number of international students. That is why they introduces a program fully in English. During the first application period the university received more than 1000 applications for only 120 places. I study at the German Bachelor's Program. It has three stages - STEOP, CBK and Hauptstudium. Every student who has chosen BWl/IBWL/WINF can specialize in 2 subjects. Most of the exams are standardized and there are enough materials for preparation. For some subjects there are even additional courses organized from ÖH (the student organization). There are special mentor programs, so take a look at ALL OF THEM even before applying to the university. You will be amazed how much the university supports its students. The administration is amazing. They always answer very fast and their answers are really helpful. If you want to work something connected with R or Data Science, this is your university. The campus is pretty new and really modern. In Vienna there are a lot of DISCOUNTS FOR STUDENTS AND PRESENTS during the WHOLE SEMESTER. Bank accounts are free of charge. You even may receive a bonus for opening a student bank account in Austria.

INTERNATIONAL ATMOSPHERE

- Great University. - Great support system from teachers. - You will meet different nationalities. - Recommendable to anyone. I am a Master student in International Management. This course will help you later for working in Multinationals company and also management level.
