Studying Geography at the University of Ghana gave me a strong balance between academic theory and real world perspective. The program encouraged critical thinking about environmental systems, urban development, and human interactions with space, which helped me develop a more analytical way of understanding everyday challenges. Beyond the classroom, the environment was diverse and intellectually engaging, with opportunities to collaborate, research, and explore different viewpoints. Overall, my experience at the University of Ghana was both grounding and expansive, shaping how I approach problem solving and structured thinking today.

It is true that a diploma from a Swiss university isn't easy to get, but it is totally profitable. First, this program gives us opportunities to meet prestigious Swiss businessmen and businesswomen. Plus our professors are well-known and are the best in their domain. With a diploma from UNIGE, we have a career assured, especially if we want to work in Switzerland (one of the countries with the highest wages), but also internationally. Our university is located in the international city of Geneva, we can enjoy the little but pleasant student life with students from all around the world.
Going to Takoradi Technical University was a good experience for me. The school was more practical than theory, and it helped me to understand real estate and construction very well. The lecturers were supportive and pushed us to be hardworking and disciplined. I also learned how to work in groups, which improved my teamwork and communication. Overall, Takoradi Technocal university prepared me for the real world and gave me the confidence to handle challenges in my career
I did my BBus through Open Polytech (2007-2013) and was really happy, recommended them. However, in the last couple of years I had to do the Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services (Residential Property) and am now doing the Level 4 Certificate in Accounting, and wow has the standard gone downhill. There were so many errors in the Level 5 Certificate, they had not updated it with very important changes in the laws (of which I rolled out changes in my organisation, so I knew more than the tutor did!). Now I am doing a Level 4 Certificate and the standard of the information is poor, forms that don't work and vaguely worded questions that the 'tutor' refused to clarify. At least I didn't pay for it but the taxpayers (of which I am one) are still paying for it! Such a shame to see my alma mater go backwards like that.
