The Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development is a German tertiary education institution that focuses on applied sciences like engineering, business and technology. It was founded in the year 1830 and as of the total enrollee count in 2014, it is said that the student count has already reached an estimated 2083.
Initially, the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development was a Fachhochschule (also known as a university for applied sciences) that was focused on Forestry. But when it was established in the year 1992, the university started offering a wider scope – now offering different courses in the applied sciences.
In 2010, the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development was re-established and now uses the name – Entwicklung Eberswalde under the management of their president – Wilhelm-Günther Vahrson.
