In my experience, this business school is considerably more hyped than the actual value it delivers. While the marketing and reputation may create high expectations, the learning experience often falls short. One of the biggest concerns is the lack of placement support. Students are largely expected to manage their career opportunities on their own, which can be disappointing given the investment made in the program. Academically, many subjects are covered only at a surface level. The curriculum tends to focus on providing a broad overview rather than developing deep understanding or practical expertise. Most topics are wrapped up in just one or two classes, which is rarely enough to gain meaningful knowledge or build strong skills. As a result, students are often left to do significant self-learning if they want to truly understand the material. While the school introduces a wide range of business concepts, it doesn't always provide the depth, rigour, or hands-on learning that many students expect from a quality business education. Overall, I found the institution to be somewhat overrated, with the reputation and hype exceeding the actual learning outcomes and career support provided.
The overall experience was ok. Yet I dont feel that it was worth 10k€ a year for what I received. Starting from repetitive classes in each year but with a different name until not having bathrooms for almost 6 months. The quality of the majority of classes was 2/5. The content of the classes was not deep enough to teach you about tools, appliances, ways of solving, what should be taken into consideration. On my 2 last years. I took the exact same class of public relations but named differently. Not even the professor knew what to say any more. I didn’t saw not event one tool that is used in public relations. We analyzed just one case of public relations in the whole semester. And it was a mention not event a full analysis. I do not recommend GBSB. The internships they say the help you with on their webpage its a lie. They do not help you in any way to connect you with no company. They are not event informed in how to help you with the visa.
Nothing to show
The UEMC is a University with modern facilities and with very good technical resources. The small number of students in each class means that the subjects can be better taught and the learning is properly taken advantage of. The University has been making a firm commitment for the promotion of the employment of its students for a long time, thanks to the measures that are part of the Strategic Plan of Employability and the possibility of practicing from the first courses, with the advice of attentive academic tutors to the needs of each student. In addition, it has an online training program that also allows professionals to update their knowledge through a modality that has advantages such as flexibility, ease of connection or reconciliation with other activities. There are always areas in which you can improve but, in general, the UEMC is an excellent University in which to study degrees, double degrees, own degrees or master's degrees. Studying Advertising and public relations at CEU Cardenal Herrera was an enriching and transformative experience. One thing I standout is the combined theoretical and practical skills we learned throughout the career. We work hand on hand with well known brands that give us a profesional view and a bigger understanding of the profesional world. The multicultural environment at CEU help me develop cultural sensibility and open my perspective because of the diverse backgrounds. The most enriching experience was living in the amazing city en Valencia, its stunning architecture and its amazing food. I graduated feeling confident and prepared to enter to the professional world.
The life in Murcia is simply great! A lot of tapas bars, bars, clubs etc. which are affordable for students! During the courses at UCAM, I got to know so many international people who got really good friends in the meanwhile. The only shortcoming is that several professors have difficulties to explain their ideas in English, because of the language barrier. But this does not concern every teacher. Furthermore, the teaching staff is not only about professors but about people having their own business and talking about their own experiences. All in all the education is pretty good at UCAM. But the working-life balance is even better. "Savoir-Vivre!"
