I am personally studying in Administration and international exchanges, in my 3rd year and I have been experiencing a lot of things in this university. Indeed, it is important to know that I have been a student during the Covid period, a hard time for everyone. Out of this, I would like to specify that there are very very interesting teachers who made me happy about going to class, I mean they are not just reading a PowerPoint, they are dedicated to their students, particularly my Spanish teacher, he is the only one really invested in our orientation, and I mean I am on my 3rd year, I had to choose where to go for next year and he was the only one to guide us a little bit, the black point is that with him we don't have a really organised class, but to me it was ok, I enjoyed it because he was no simply telling facts but taking real-life experiences and I really enjoyed it. In addition, during my first year, I had a very funny but interesting teacher, English teacher, kind of crazy, teaching us about market stocks... I really enjoyed my classes with him, same thing, he was INTERESTING, DYNAMIC. There are also other teachers that really great but I mean these two are REALLY nice to study with. The drawbacks of this university are that there is no organisation, we received the exams information less than one week before it started one time. Then, we normally have a referent teacher for each Parcours, I have NEVER seen mine in all my time at university, and I am not someone who misses classes a lot. I am disappointed about her because, I mean hopefully our Spanish teacher was here to inform us and help us not to miss some deadlines, important information... The biggest advantage of this university is that I had the opportunity to go for an Erasmus in the Czech Republic, for a semester and it was absolutely amazing, nothing bad to say about that, administrative persons were really reactive and efficient. The only little black point is that I basically applied to go to a university in Prague, and I was selected by BRNO. How was that possible? I don't know but I was determined to go, and I was right, it was amazing, I really recommend to all students to take the opportunities they are offered. Anyway, to sum up, this is a nice university, we don't have a huge amount of work to do, there is opportunities but you have to stay in touch with all going on and take as much opportunities as you can. Don't wait for your grades to arrive early because they will not. But enjoy and use the information transmitted by your teachers.
When I took admission in SPJIMR, I knew it was a good college, but only spent time there I realized that is actually better than I thought. While one could be forgiven for running after the iim tag, I strongly suggest joining SPJIMR for the following reasons, if you are not getting a call from either of iim-a, b, C, L and may be K. might seem a small thing, but having campus in Mumbai means easy access to companies for love projects, internships, guest lectures, placements, exposure and experience. I have a strong stance against reservations. Despite me being right or wrong, I realized that since SPJIMR has no reservations, it ends up getting a very good mix of students from different backgrounds. Even those who I didn't like that much in the beginning ended up impressing me one way or the other. Profile based calls: SPJIMR gives a good importance to your cv, your background beyond academics.. This again contributes to a very healthy mix of students who always bring something new to the table.Management while SPJIMR has always had good faculty, recently there has been a change in management which has only been impressive from what I have heard since the college asks you to select your Specialization before admission only, it helps you to focus on it from the start, and the companies also appreciate it. Hope the above points help you in making a better choice.
It has efficient and reliable programmes which are tailored to suit the background of all students in terms of cost and service delivery.lecturers are competent and friendly .The management is top notch .
