International Immersion: Transformative Leadership for Future Challenges – Program Review I had the opportunity to participate in the International Immersion program at EADA Business School, Barcelona, spending a month at the Barcelona campus and an additional week at the Collbató campus. The overall experience was highly enriching and impactful. The classroom sessions at the Barcelona campus were exceptionally interactive and engaging. The learning environment encouraged open dialogue, collaborative thinking, and the exchange of diverse perspectives among participants from different backgrounds. This significantly enhanced the depth of discussions and contributed to a well-rounded learning experience. The Collbató campus offered a distinctly immersive environment, combining experiential learning with outdoor activities. This setting complemented the academic sessions by fostering teamwork, reflection, and leadership development in a more informal yet highly effective context. Overall, the program was a valuable learning journey. While the immediate experience was positive, its true impact has become more evident over time. It has contributed meaningfully to my personal and professional development, particularly in enhancing my leadership perspective, cross-cultural understanding, and ability to navigate complex, real-world challenges.
The overall experience was ok. Yet I dont feel that it was worth 10k€ a year for what I received. Starting from repetitive classes in each year but with a different name until not having bathrooms for almost 6 months. The quality of the majority of classes was 2/5. The content of the classes was not deep enough to teach you about tools, appliances, ways of solving, what should be taken into consideration. On my 2 last years. I took the exact same class of public relations but named differently. Not even the professor knew what to say any more. I didn’t saw not event one tool that is used in public relations. We analyzed just one case of public relations in the whole semester. And it was a mention not event a full analysis. I do not recommend GBSB. The internships they say the help you with on their webpage its a lie. They do not help you in any way to connect you with no company. They are not event informed in how to help you with the visa.
I applied for a Master in English as the master coordinator promised me it is available. On my first day I found out they only had it in Spanish, so I moved from Germany to Spain for a Master where I couldn't understand anything and of course, it was already very late to apply for another University or Business School. I wrote a Mail to the coordinator as the people in the front office couldn't help me, but I didn't get an answer. As well I tried to call but you only have the number of the front office and they always told me the coordinator is busy or when they told me he will call me back I didn't get a call. After a while, I got the Information that I will get my money back but I had to fill in a form. Of course, I didn't get the form in the time period the coordinator promised me and I had to try to call again. Same as last time I had no chance to speak with him. At the end, I contacted a lawyer and wrote a last mail to the coordinator. He replied 10 minutes later...! I can not recommend this business school!! Even I had the chance to visit two different classes for one session and the lecturer explained very practical which was good but very very slow. You also have to take care because you won't get a Master of Science or Art or anything accepted in der European Region.
Nothing to show
Classes are good, I would try to make them more interactive and with more practices in class. Professors normally are good, in the english course I believe the english of the teachers could be better specially if the course is taught in that language. I also believe professors could interact more with their students and try to get in contact with students they see may be struggling. Otherwise the campus, although a bit small is fine, really nice, the library could be a little bigger.
A perfect synergy between theoretical knowledge, practical application, and high-quality networking. After completing the Master in Sport Management at Johan Cruyff Institute, I took a major step forward in my career in the sports industry. What truly sets this institution apart is the closeness and support of the professors and staff, as well as the enriching experiences shared with fellow students. Without a doubt, it has been one of the most transformative decisions of my life.
