Aalto University is honestly such an amazing place. The campus is right in the middle of nature, with woods and water all around. The student life here is super active, there are tons of student clubs that host different events all over the week, which provide great opportunities to make some new friends! One thing that really surprised me was how multidisciplinary the courses are. Being able to collaborate in diverse teams of designers and engineers is a rare opportunity that simply doesn't exist at many other institutions. It really pushes you to think outside the box and reflect more deeply on your work. P.S. If you’re lucky, you can even catch the Northern Lights right from campus!

My experience studying nursing at Xamk.

Studying nursing at Xamk has been a practical and rewarding experience to me regardless of my previous background in-terms of profession. The programme strongly focuses on hands-on skills, simulation training, and clinical placements, which has helped me connect theory directly to real nursing practice. The teachers are supportive and approachable, and the learning environment encourages growth both professionally and personally, being able to also learn a new language (Finnish) within a short period of time with the help of Xamk has been a great milestone to me. Overall, Xamk has prepared me well for working life in healthcare.

STUDENT LIFE

I am an international master's student at TalTech. TalTech provides ample of opportunities to thrive oneself. 1) They have laboratories which are equipped with modern equipment. 2) Access to internet 24/7. 3) Various platforms to show your talent. 4) Quality of education is good but sometimes it's hard to understand some professors. There can be several reasons behind it. 1. He doesn't have command of that subject. 2. He is having language issues. 3. He is knowledgeable but not good at explaining.

Is it worth it?

I have been here for almost 3 years. I am in my final semester. This university seems good online, but have proven to be very difficult in person. The university is already very expensive, and they keep increasing the amount every year. When it comes to the learning curve, it is very poor. It depends on the course, but generally, they do not provide enough resources to learn what is needed to survive and make it in the professional world. Most lecturers do not let you pass their course just because of class attendance. The only good thing about this university would have to be the people, networks, and friends you make along the way. You can easily bond with them over the same experiences faced while studying at this uni. So if I have to be honest, I would not recommend this university to any student coming here, unless the school improves afterwards.
