i would recommend Tallinn Univeristy. Because it has different study themes and all is well organized. i also like that it is possible to study on long-distance and e-studies. Professors are so-so.. some of them are very good but some of them are like from stone age.
View moreNeither bad nor too fascinating. Teachers are responsive and often really are into their subject, however, they often stick to themselves and their career/public face in ambiguous situations with students. The rector is a nice looking intelligent man who however doesn’t really care about the students of his uni. Don’t expect money return if you overpaid something by mistake. Lack of material satisfaction among teachers affects their attitude. Lack of community spirit or team building, no central student organisation for ALL students’ engagement (not just locals).
Overall it’s a good uni, nice design, and curriculum, and all is good. Just lacks straight communication and some details. If you are like people who work there – ambitious, reserved, more into yourself than the others – you will do ok. If you are something else – go further
It’s a small university in Tallinn city center, but has a modern campus with 6 different buildings. A filmschool is part of the university. It is quite international. The professors teaching in English are usually either international or have studied abroad. The downsides are the programs that change very often, rigid rules and not exactly the most helpful staff.
View moreNice university mostly focussed on social and humanitarian sciencies with a modern campus located in the centre of Estonia’s capital. Though could be less bureaucratic, more flexible and supportive of her students & members of staff.
