I am currently studying at York. Professors are helpful and guide us through our careers. Courses and assignments are very practical and not just theoretical. These assignments can also be used as a portfolio and showcase it to recruiters.

There are various opportunities around you. Opportunities to engage with like-minded people and to work in future. You should be proactive, try to engage in extracurricular activities, and enjoy while you can. Certificate courses should be chosen wisely don’t go for a generic course go for something that will add to your resume and try to connect with your professors to get that additional benefit.

I personally like it around here so far. There is alot of events and collaborations that take place frequently and motivates you in some kind of way by which faculty is organizing those events. You wont be bored as long as you’re keeping yourself busy and attending and making the most out of it. Some programs may seem boring but keep an interest and move on as time takes you.

While York University has some great things that are working for them such as good infrastructure, exposure but in terms of actual curriculum – it lacks.

The curriculum is not as in-depth or diverse as I would have expected.
