I’m currently a student at the Medicine program at Universidad Central de Venezuela and I can say that being a part of this college has changed my life. I have not only learned from excellent professors and professionals, I also have made lifelong friends and learnt a lot of what it means to be a Doctor. I have learnt the importance of persistence, resilience and work ethic and how impactful a Doctor is to society. Not only that, I have a new understanding of the importance of all medical professionals, including nurses, nutritionists and physical therapists. Not everything is rose colored though, I had to wait four years to start my program because of multiple delays and internal issues. That waiting time really made me think and sometimes I wanted to give up, but I realized that being a doctor was my calling, my mission in life and my time in college showed me what a great decision I made. All of the things I have learnt and all of the experiences I’ve had so far are worth it and I wouldn’t change them for anything.

The best professionals in this country have come out of this University. It is par excellence the first option for future high school graduates, due to its tradition and excellence.
Despite the ups and downs it has experienced due to the economic and political situation in the country, I can’t stop recommending it highly.
