I’m currently a student at the Medicine program at Universidad Central de Venezuela and I can say that being a part of this college has changed my life. I have not only learned from excellent professors and professionals, I also have made lifelong friends and learnt a lot of what it means to be a Doctor. I have learnt the importance of persistence, resilience and work ethic and how impactful a Doctor is to society. Not only that, I have a new understanding of the importance of all medical professionals, including nurses, nutritionists and physical therapists. Not everything is rose colored though, I had to wait four years to start my program because of multiple delays and internal issues. That waiting time really made me think and sometimes I wanted to give up, but I realized that being a doctor was my calling, my mission in life and my time in college showed me what a great decision I made. All of the things I have learnt and all of the experiences I’ve had so far are worth it and I wouldn’t change them for anything.View more

Without a doubt, the best house of studies in Venezuela, for 300 years, has the best professors in all its faculties, and its very good facilities.
The best professionals in this country have come out of this University. It is par excellence the first option for future high school graduates, due to its tradition and excellence.
Despite the ups and downs it has experienced due to the economic and political situation in the country, I can’t stop recommending it highly.View more
The most structurally, educationally and economically prepared university in the country, with highly capable professors to teach and train future professionals in different academic areas. a little politically divided by the political situation of the country, worth the redundancy, but despite this the other most important facets are very normal. recommended 100%View more

One of the best Spanish-speaking options worldwide to study Nutrition that I know of. I have worked in 3 other countries and my education has far surpassed that of my peers there. Unfortunately, the facilities are abandoned because they are victims of a political issue that should never and never involve education in a country. Despite this, the value of its history has led the UCV to remain a World Heritage Site. I owe a lot to this house of study. The house that overcomes the shadow will always be in my heart.View more
The Central University of Venezuela is an autonomous institution of higher education located in the capital city of Venezuela. It is characterized by its good quality in terms of teachers and good students, both parties being very committed and competent. The graduates of this “house of studies” are characterized by being bright and comprehensive, are professionals and excellently manage their area of study, having even greater knowledge compared to the standards of students of the same degrees graduated from other universities nationwide. In the UCV there are many student movements that promote politics throughout the university, being one of the most political universities in the country. The student of this university is very requested at work level. Finally, I consider it a very good university because of its quality of staff, students and teachers and can really be considered as “the house that overcomes the shadows”.View more
