Studying at the University of the People has been a lifeline for me as a student from Afghanistan. In a country where access to higher education is extremely limited and full of challenges, UoPeople gave me hope when opportunities felt out of reach.
The online and flexible learning system allows me to continue my education despite difficult conditions, uncertainty, and limited resources. It has given me a sense of purpose and stability during very hard times.
The courses encourage independent learning, critical thinking, and personal responsibility. I am especially grateful to my instructor, Nursalin Ashfi, whose guidance, patience, and constructive feedback made a meaningful difference in my learning journey.
The tuition-free model removed financial barriers that would have otherwise made higher education impossible for me. I would strongly recommend UoPeople to students facing difficult circumstances who still believe in education as a path to a better future. I am deeply thankful for this opportunity and proud to be a UoPeople student.
