I would definitely recommend UoPeople. The coursework and support from instructors are commendable.

I recommend getting familiar with American English if coming from a different education system. All academic writing will require familiarity with it.

The workload is quite intense, but I found the foundational course ‘UNIV 1001-01’ very helpful. It focuses on building skills that empower your learning journey, no matter your background. However, I recommend planning to dedicate more than the recommended 15 – 17 hours per week to your studies, towards the research and practice time needed to understand concepts.

I can only speak for the 1st Semester experience, thus far, but I do hope that those standards are maintained throughout the rest of my academic journey.

Coming from a professional environment, the pace mirrors the day-to-day real-world experience in the technology space, where learning and adaptation are fast-paced and require strategy, planning, and intention to produce effective and optimal results, whilst maintaining balance with other duties and responsibilities.
