University of the People (UoPeople) has been a transformative experience for me. As someone who works full-time, parent and lives in a developing country, UoPeople’s online, tuition-free model allowed me to pursue a high-quality education without financial pressure. I studied Business Administration and found the curriculum well-structured, focusing on both academic theory and practical application.
What stood out the most was the flexibility of the program and the global classroom experience. I interacted with peers from around the world, which enriched discussions and gave me a broader perspective. The professors and course instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and the peer assessment system encourages collaboration and responsibility.
On the downside, sometimes the peer grading can be inconsistent, and access to some academic resources is limited compared to traditional universities. However, the overall learning experience, especially for students in underserved areas, is incredibly valuable.
I would highly recommend UoPeople to self-motivated learners who are looking for a flexible, affordable, and globally connected university. It’s especially ideal for people balancing work, family, and education.
Thank you Uofpeople.
