As a current student at the University of the People pursuing an Associate Degree in Health Science, I can confidently say that UoPeople has transformed the way I view education. It’s more than just a university—it’s a gateway to opportunity, especially for students like me in Kanye, Botswana, who may not have easy access to traditional brick-and-mortar institutions.

What truly sets UoPeople apart is its affordability and accessibility. The tuition-free model, with only small assessment fees, removes financial barriers that often prevent capable students from pursuing higher education. The online, asynchronous format is flexible and well-structured, allowing me to balance my studies with other personal responsibilities.

The learning platform is user-friendly, and the course content is relevant, up-to-date, and deeply engaging. I’ve gained not just academic knowledge, but practical, real-world insights that I can apply in my career and community. Interacting with a diverse, global student body has also broadened my perspective and enriched my learning experience in unexpected ways.
