My experience at the University of the People has been positive overall. As a working student, the flexibility of the online learning model has allowed me to continue my education while balancing work and personal responsibilities. The tuition-free structure makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds, which is one of the university’s greatest strengths.

I have enjoyed interacting with students from around the world, gaining different perspectives through discussion forums and group assignments. Most courses are well-structured, and I have learned valuable academic and professional skills throughout my studies.

One challenge is that online learning requires a high level of self-discipline and time management. Peer assessments can sometimes be inconsistent, and response times for administrative matters may vary depending on the situation. Since there is no traditional campus life, students need to be proactive in building connections and engaging with the community.

Despite these challenges, I would recommend the University of the People to motivated students who are looking for an affordable, flexible, and accredited degree program. It provides opportunities for people who might not otherwise have access to higher education and can be a valuable pathway toward personal and professional growth.
