What I liked:
• The flexibility is excellent no live lectures, so you learn at your own pace within weekly deadlines.
• Courses are well-structured with relevant materials, and many students report gaining practical knowledge, especially in Business Administration and Computer Science.
• The global student community is diverse and enriching you get perspectives from people all over the world.
• Recently achieving WASC regional accreditation (as of early 2025) significantly boosts the degree’s credibility for jobs and further studies.
What I disliked / challenges:
• The peer-assessment system is a mixed bag you sometimes grade (or get graded by) work of varying quality, which can feel inconsistent.
• Support can be slow at times, and communication with advisors varies.

Overall, I would recommend UoPeople to motivated, independent learners who want a legitimate, accredited U.S. degree without massive debt. It’s not a traditional campus experience with hand-holding, but it delivers solid value for the price (basically free tuition). My experience has been positive and empowering
