My overall opinion of the University of the People is very positive. I chose UoPeople because it is accredited and tuition‑free, which made higher education possible for me. What I liked most is the flexibility of the online platform; I could study while working full‑time. The course structure is clear: weekly discussion forums, written assignments, learning journals, and quizzes. This helped me stay organized and maintain a strong GPA, earning President’s List recognition. The academic advisors are responsive and supportive, guiding students through registration and scholarships. One area I disliked is the peer assessment process. Feedback from peers can be inconsistent, and sometimes unfair grades are given. I would like to see clearer rubrics and more instructor oversight. I would definitely recommend UoPeople to self‑disciplined learners who need an affordable, flexible path to a degree. It is not easy as you must manage your time well, but the rewards are real.
