Studying at Penn was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I met people from many different countries and backgrounds and it really changed the way I view the world. Penn offers a lot of flexibility to take classes in other disciplines outside of yours, so I really feel like I got a well-rounded education. It also has all sorts of extracurricular activities that complemented my academics and helped me make a lot of connections outside of my engineering classes.
I was lucky enough to find a job before I even graduated and a lot of my peers did too.
One thing I think Penn can improve on is offering larger physical spaces for the cultural groups that are currently in the basement of a building.
After shifting here from Chicago, I found it difficult to adjust but in the university itself, I loved it. The students are very supportive and work in a team. The program was very diverse and as this is my end semester, I am all nostalgic about the first years but uofpenn is a great university. The value is great and the opportunities are to die for. We are bound to do atleast 4 internships all for different types of experience and time spans. The credit points often provide really help us in getting jobs for our passion. The journey has been great till now and as it is ending this is my way to give it back to the university by writing an honest review.
View moreI liked that the program is filled with diverse ranges which have been divided in a great manner for us to achieve. I got enrolled here in the summer and the accommodation facilities are also provided with great care, the term paper are not very promising as they are way ahead of what we are learning here. We need to train according to them. The career prospects are fascinating in this field and the opportunities we get from Upenn are great. We have all sorts of necessities on the campus which makes us not want to leave campus and any point and visit our home lol. In all great uni, no second thoughts about enrolling here.
View moreEveryone there was so friendly and helpful. All the professors were very inspiring and were always trying to help us learn and grow. There are always competitions and challenges along the way but these are what help us grow. All my classmates were hard working as the university is already really tough academically so we all had to keep up and work hard. Also the social life there was great as there was always a new restaurant to go to or a new place to discover. The University of Pennsylvania is a great choice for anyone who wants to put in the work and go places, and it is full of many opportunities.
View morePenn provides a cohesive atmosphere for academic research. With some of the greatest professors carrying out cutting-edge research, you get an opportunity to test your skills from the get-go. At the same time, Penn promotes an environment for independent research, wherein an individual can get to test his/her ideas without being worried about “what if my thinking is wrong”. Implementation of ideas and novel thoughts is a key factor that guides student progress at Penn.
View morePenn is a pretty amazing school; my learning experience so far has been very amazing. The academics are challenging, but I have truly learned a lot in all the classes I have taken. The motto “work hard, play hard” is an accurate description of the University. There is always something to do on campus. __Penn is also very pre-professional and is known as the civic ivy; these are things I can attest to, as there are many opportunities to advance one’s professional career and many companies recruit on campus, as well as many opportunities to engage in community service activities especially in Penn’s local geographic community of West Philadelphia. __In my experience, it is an expensive school to attend and the financial aid is not as great as other schools’. It’s also hyper-competitive, which can take a toll on one if care isn’t taken. __Overall, it’s a pretty great place to be.
