Going back to school after a long break was a big step for me, but choosing this university turned out to be one of my biggest regrets.
The review of my documents was confusing and disorganized, and it took about six months before anything was actually done. Things only started moving after I pushed for answers. During that time, I got mixed-up and wrong information from different departments, which made everything even more stressful and discouraging.
The transfer credit process was just as disappointing. I had about 140 credits, but only 67 were accepted, and no one clearly explained why or helped me understand the decision. After months of confusion, the whole process felt rushed, poorly explained, and I didn’t feel supported at all.
As someone coming back to school, I hoped for guidance, clear answers, and professionalism. Instead, I felt ignored and left to sort things out on my own. Departments didn’t communicate, and no one seemed to be able to really help. This has been so frustrating that I’ve wondered if I should even keep going.
This has honestly been one of the worst school experiences I’ve ever had. Instead of feeling supported and encouraged to keep going, I’ve ended up feeling defeated and ready to give up. I wouldn’t recommend this university to other returning students who need real support, clear communication, or a fair transfer credit review.
