My experience at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign has been incredibly enriching, both academically and personally. As a Mathematics major with a Statistics concentration, I’ve found UIUC to be one of the best environments for interdisciplinary learning and to have the most supportive academic community.
Beyond the classroom, countless programs help students grow. I participated in initiatives like AI4ALL Ignite, the Writers Workshop, the Global Educator Program, and various leadership and mentorship opportunities. These experiences helped me build confidence, cultural intelligence, and communication skills while also giving me opportunities to mentor others.
Life here has also been vibrant and meaningful. Whether engaging in music and arts events, exploring diverse student communities, or attending cultural activities, there are always spaces where I can express creativity and meet people with similar interests.
