Up until this point, UConn has shown to be a phenomenal school that I totally love. It is an inconceivable spot to seek after advanced education, with a different and drew in understudy body as well as exceptional teachers. Despite the fact that my essential major in mental sciences was marginally wide for my ongoing quest for a postgraduate education, it actually furnished me with significant information. Most of teachers at UConn are profoundly strong and offer the best assets to assist understudies with succeeding in their classes, including more than adequate practice issues, educational recordings, and complete slides.
View moreIn my opinion, UConn cultivates a teaching philosophy that empowers students to take an active role in their own learning. Rather than simply receiving information, UConn encourages students to autonomously explore and study topics to gain a true understanding. I believe this approach has been extremely beneficial and will greatly assist me in my future academic pursuits. Overall, my experience at UConn during my university journey was positive. I deeply appreciated the availability of accessible counselors, guidance resources, and support systems. Additionally, I found the university’s diverse range of courses and flexible scheduling options to be highly convenient for students.
View moreI feel relieved that I have resources and backup plans as a student with disabilities. Although I feel more can be done, it still feels good to know I won’t be faced with ultimatums like withdrawal or dismissal from the institutions for things that are out of my control. It would be nice if there were alternative assignments offered if a student feels they don’t have the capabilities or capacity to accomplish one that’s given to everyone else.
View moreUCONN is an amazing school for in-state students! The campus is large, there are a lot of clubs to join, and the academics are top-notch. I would recommend this university to any student who is looking for a great education.
View moreStepping onto the UCONN campus for the first time coming from a small hometown, I was incredibly intimidated. As anyone who has visited UCONN can tell you, students are scurrying around, crossing the street, and entering one of several hundred buildings at all times of the day. To the freshmen who are on their own for the first time, the thought of finding their classes and walking in the wind, rain, and snow to class every day is challenging. However, almost immediately, every student is introduced to the slew of programs UCINN offers to make its students feel at home. The involvement fair lines Fairfield Way with over 700 student organizations that cater to every interest imaginable. Later in the year, on that same stretch of driveway, the school spirit is palpable as Dunkin hosts pep rallies to wish the women’s basketball team luck as they head off to the championship game. While going to school with thousands of students from all over the world is intimidating, UCONN welcomes each student and gives them a place on campus.
View moreUCONN is an excellent school, with campuses all across Connecticut, it allows us to study and work near the New York City metropolitan area as well as the greater Boston and Hartford areas in the northeast that host some of the biggest insurance, technology, and financial companies. While being diverse and being a place where ideas are revolutionized, any major in any field at UCONN is guaranteed a job. The university has faculty from across the globe, most of whom are alums of both UCONN and some of the other elites such as Harvard, Yale and etc. Our institution offers 115 majors and the option to have an individualized major which allows for creativity and the ability for students to learn what is relevant to their interests. The courses also offered are well organized, modern, and related to today’s society that educates us on practical knowledge required for our careers and further education. Our alumni have reached the creme in their fields, such as being C suite execs at Walmart, Morgan Stanley, and Barclays to name a few. We’ve also had alum enter and graduate from the Ivys, we had astronauts in the sky, award-winning entertainers, and decorated Olympians and sportsmen. Studying at UCONN sets a person up for success.
