I firmly believe in the ideals of activism, tolerance, and learning, all of which are cultivated at UC Berkeley. A learner has the chance to look outside the boundaries of their education and gain knowledge from a variety of viewpoints. The university buildings and even the nearby run-down eateries and shops lend the college a distinctively “Berkeleyan” feel.
