What an incredible opportunity it is to attend an international school. Branched off from a school in the United States, based in South Korea, there are all kinds of people from all kinds of places who attend. Not a day goes by where I don’t learn something new about someone else’s culture, and that is something that I cherish here. Likewise, the study styles from each background are something that I’ve come to learn, to best work with my fellow students. Even the professors are from all over the world, giving the experience to learn from all different teaching styles, in all different majors. The only downside to the school – seeing that the main campus is on the other side of the world – is communication between the two. Because the main campus tends to run most of the decision making for the Asia campus, it is sometimes difficult to get in contact with them or help them understand the vast differences between going to school here, versus going to school in the United States. Even so, I’d recommend it to anyone who asks, the staff and the experience here are more than worth it.
