Student review [#85868] for English and Creative Writing

Texas State is a good school by all means. To start with the positives, their professors are fantastic, knowledgeable and personable, and genuinely want their students to succeed. However, I believe the curriculums, especially the English track(my major) is outdated as it hadn’t been changed since the 1980s. Writing has changed a lot over the years, and while it is a valuable skill for any job, I believe English programs should include copywriting courses and AI prompt courses, to prepare students for the increasingly AI powered workforce.
