SOU is located in the small town of Ashland, and the university itself feels like another cozy town within it. The campus is beautiful with study corners everywhere. There are community events, clubs and volunteer opportunities throughout they year. It’s very easy to meet and connect with other students, which is such an integral part of the university experience. The professors were wonderful, available, welcoming. I recommend the SOU experience, as long as the school offers the studies you are interested in. The art program is great, but needs to be expanded, as space was very limited and it was difficult, if not impossible, to enroll in some classes.
View moreI received a well-rounded education. All my professors were great and I felt like I was able to receive a good education from the class options. A small but beautiful campus with good amenities. A good college for in-state students.
