View moreSo far, my experience at Penn State has been great. The professors I have had the pleasure of having, have been amazing. Not only that, but Penn State’s alumni network is one of the best, if not the best, in the country. On top of that, there are so many clubs and activities you can get involved in.
View moreThis university provides great opportunities if you make use of them. The classes are usually big depending on your major so you often have to fend for yourself and there is usually no relationship with the professors. There are plenty of clubs so I would advice anyone attending to go to the involvement fair to see what they have access to. The Paul Robeson center is also a safe space for people of color so make sure to check that out in the hub. Everywhere you go, you are always going to meet a penn stater and I think that is awesome.
View morePennsylvania State University consists of competitive and friendly students focused on building community and professional experience during their time here. I would recommend students who are looking for community through sports, clubs, and school affiliated groups and are comfortable with new experiences. There are endless opportunities to expand professional experience with research and leadership positions available on and off campus. A downside for some students is that this university is a PWI and it can be difficult to integrate into some spaces such as Greek Life. Overall, PSU is a mostly welcoming and eventful campus that embodies the typical American university.
