My overall assessment of my program at the University of the People reflects a profound sense of satisfaction. Crucially, the University’s commitment to providing generous scholarship opportunities has been pivotal in mitigating financial obstacles, thereby enabling the uninterrupted pursuit of a rigorous and enriching educational journey.

University of the People is a flexible, online high education platform that is dedicated to give globally accepted education. I am enjoying my study in this University. The tutors and academic advisors are always working together to make sure students have the best study experience. I have learnt a lot of skills during my computer science degree, and I am still learning. I also like the availability of free online education and research materials for our online courses. I advise to this great institution is to continue the good work

The university of the people is a freedom ticket to independence and self reliance. It creates possibilities unlimited through educqtiolnthat creates a prosperous key to open doors of prosperity throguh excellent guidance.

The University of the People is regionally accredited, like any other university, and provides high quality education in computer science and other subjects, but is affordable. Students are not rejected because they can’t pay six figures for a bachelor’s degree. The school takes pride in making sure that people are not excluded from education due to their location in the world either, and strives to ensure access to people who would otherwise be completely denied an education. In Canada, even, there was no way I could ever afford to get my BSc in computer science, and it didn’t matter how strong my grades were. All that mattered in Canada was whether I was already rich or not (I was not) until I found UoPeople. Since graduating in 2019, I’ve qualified for far more STEM jobs that require a degree than I ever could have, and I will always be grateful to this one-of-a-kind school. If you don’t think you can get an education because you are marginalized in any way, or just don’t want to accumulate massive debt (your country regards education as a business where nothing matters but profit), you should definitely have a look. The programs are great. Even with the incredibly low cost, there are scholarships too.

University of the People is an exceptional institution. After earning my Associate’s Degree in 2024, I immediately decided to pursue my Bachelor’s here. The curriculum is top-notch, and the professors are not only highly qualified but also kind and approachable. The entire staff is supportive, ensuring you receive an American-accredited education at an incredibly low cost, with financial aid available if needed.

Overall, I feel blessed to be part of this community. I strongly believe the university’s prestige will only continue to grow, it truly is the future of higher education!

I would definitely recommend UoPeople. The coursework and support from instructors are commendable.

I recommend getting familiar with American English if coming from a different education system. All academic writing will require familiarity with it.

The workload is quite intense, but I found the foundational course ‘UNIV 1001-01’ very helpful. It focuses on building skills that empower your learning journey, no matter your background. However, I recommend planning to dedicate more than the recommended 15 – 17 hours per week to your studies, towards the research and practice time needed to understand concepts.

I can only speak for the 1st Semester experience, thus far, but I do hope that those standards are maintained throughout the rest of my academic journey.

Coming from a professional environment, the pace mirrors the day-to-day real-world experience in the technology space, where learning and adaptation are fast-paced and require strategy, planning, and intention to produce effective and optimal results, whilst maintaining balance with other duties and responsibilities.

The programme provides solid academic content and the instructors are knowledgeable and supportive in the classroom. The course materials and learning structure helped me improve my English skills. However, the administrative and scholarship process was unclear and challenging. My scholarship status changed without prior notification, and getting timely guidance or resolution was difficult. Overall, the academic side is strong, but communication and student support services need significant improvement.

I am excited to start my journey with UoPeople on January 29, 2026! What impressed me most is their generous transfer policy, which will allow me to bring in 90 ACE credits to accelerate my degree. Their tuition-free model makes quality American education accessible, and while I haven’t secured a scholarship yet, the university offers great financial support options for those who need it. It’s a game-changer for international students!
