I just love that the university is in the heart of New York. Having the city as your campus hehe, you’d have to be here to experience it ngl. You just have to be. The vibes that come with it is unmatched in every way possible. Plus there’s the culture and the FOOD. If Columbia Uni isn’t your go to I don’t know what else to tell you.
View moreColumbia’s location in New York City was a big part of my college experience. It felt like the whole city was my campus, with all the cultural and food options it had to offer. The university also has a distinct campus atmosphere within the city, where a strong college community is formed. It was a truly unique experience, where the city played an integral role in shaping my college years.

View moreWith a stunning campus in one of the most important cities in the world, Columbia University is a school with a great diversity of cultures. The limitless choices offered here might be bewildering! On this campus, there is a space for everyone, with clubs, athletics, and other groups for every individual.
View moreI just started here. The site is quite memorable, and the school is stunning. But education shouldn’t be elevated in this manner. Really, a nearly six-figure tuition is not worth it for this institution. Core course instructors don’t appear to care much about the students, notably in SEAS. STEM classrooms are much more “figure it out yourself” than they are a collaborative, hands-on learning environment. If you want a classic, american college experience with fun, don’t come here because the culture is quite competitive. For the events held on campus, I was going to give the party scene rating a 2, but Columbia saves itself thanks to its enviable location in Manhattan. A party is always going on. That is the only consolation.
