As a student at Yale University, right here right now, I can say with confidence that the instructors here are excellent. Every instructor brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the classroom, which makes learning engaging and practical. They are mentors who genuinely care about their students’ success, not just lecturers. To make sure that ideas are fully understood and applied, professors regularly employ multimedia, group projects, and practical exercises. In addition to making lessons more interesting, this approach gets us ready for problems that arise in the real world.

I appreciate the ambiance of the colleges and the delightful cuisine that is provided. Furthermore, a sizable student body is consistently present during late hours, which gives me a sense of security when I’m out and about. Regarding my instructors, they have all been friendly and fair in how they administer tests and assign grades. The people here are generally friendly.

But what I appreciate is Yale seems to know that intensity isn’t sustainable without relief. The architecture is designed for this: courtyards, woods, hidden gardens, quiet libraries, and your residential college common room feel like places you can pause. I often walk through the Beinecke Library or sit by a courtyard fountain just to reset in the middle of a heavy week. The school isn’t trying to break you; it just expects high effort, but gives you some beauty and calm around it. I love it!
