My time at UCLA was a whirlwind of academics and athletics. As a geography student, I was immersed in a world of fascinating topics, from urban development to glacial landscapes, with passionate professors who brought the subject to life. Balancing that with the demands of the men’s rowing team was definitely a challenge, with early mornings on the water and grueling workouts. But the camaraderie and shared drive with my teammates forged an unbreakable bond. There were moments of exhaustion and stress, but looking back, the experiences, the friendships, and the sense of accomplishment made it all worthwhile. Go Bruins! 🐻
