The programming in the kinesiology has an emphasis on science and hands on application. It delves into Anatomy and Physiology and Biomechanics. Should you pursue this degree, your coworkers will be interested mainly in physical and occupational therapy. Some other career interests include coaching, medicine, gym teacher, and personal training. I enjoyed the exercise classes and added some sports to the mix like beach volleyball and ultimate Frisbee. I did not like that there was a huge difference in difficulty between the EKG professors. One professor worked hard to teach the class how to be proficient, but often the easier professor was preferred to up ones GPA. Taking the more challenging course leads to better competency which could lead to a job as EKG technician. This is a terrible degree if you end up not going to graduate school, as it is a “stepping stone” degree meant to get you into graduate school.
