At the University of Houston, the professors are really dedicated and passionate about teaching. They make sure to create engaging and interactive classes that help students grasp the material. Plus, they’re always available for office hours and are willing to go the extra mile to help students succeed. It is a great place to learn!

On the weekends, The Row is always bustling, and no one will force you to go out and party. However, as stress relievers, gatherings are typically enjoyable and uplifting. Additionally, it’s the ideal opportunity to make new acquaintances and reconnect with existing ones. If the party is across campus, getting there is a pain. Because SU police take BUIs seriously, you can’t bike while intoxicated, but for students who can’t drive at night, 5-SURE offers free transportation. Uber or Lyft are the last resorts.

The academic environment and lecturers are outstanding. Every day I feel highly motivated, but it can also produce a slightly poisonous environment that encourages the duck syndrome. And that has an impact on the student’s mental well-being. The school is fantastic all around!
