My experience at Hampton has been great. I love the big parties that everyone goes to and dresses up for. We have something called Alpha Cab which one of the fraternity’s throws. It’s one of the highlights of the year and you usually stay in a hotel with everyone and go to a club that night. What makes HU unique are the people and the way everyone strives for success. We all have the same goals and have the same expectations of everyone. All the students dress up for class and it’s like a fashion show every day. I wouldn’t choose a different school. I just wish there were more opportunities around us.

I really appreciate the people I met at Hampton University. All are very friendly and accommodating. The small student body really gives students a chance to get to know their class members. I would love to see some teachers improve their teaching methods, but other than that my experience at Hampton has been very pleasant so far.

The professors are available and open to students who need help. The curriculum is full of helper classes that increase the student’s chances of being chosen when competing with students from other schools of the same major. The application process isn’t bad, and advisors and presidents try to work with students to get their classes in order. The workload depends on the number of lessons and the type of lessons attended by the student. Some students work together in the dormitories or library to study.
