Student review [#31975] for Elementary Education
at Grand Canyon University

Grand Canyon is the most unique university in the world. It has the numbers of an NCAA D1 school, but it feels like a small Midwestern town where everyone know everyone! I love the fact that I can go up to anyone and talk with them and build community in that way. Also in classes it is not like everyone goes, no body talks to each other, and then leaves. Everybody is talking to each other and I have made so many good friends in my classes. The support is unbelievable! Building community in class helps everybody out because I know that I can just ask my education friends if I am confused about a project. Then GCU is pro- student. What I mean by that is they want to empower us and give us opportunities to thrive in our field. There are so many programs that GCU facilitates to bridge us from college to the real world! Even though the education is not top tier, it does not need to be because they are equipping us with connections and real world experiences that are valuable for later. This is GCU in a nutshell, I could write a book about how good this place is and what is has done for me, but this is basically the school in 1154 characters.
