Student review [#11101] for Mechanical Engineering
at New York University - NYU

I am an engineering student and knowing that people would assume that I would be someone without social life and no time for any university clubs and such.

That is completely false.

This is NYC. A city that lives and breathes no matter what the time is, and NYU emulates the same behaviour. I can’t stress enough how much fun it is to go here, and the same time being rewarding.

There are people who find themselves isolated or lonely in the first semester or even year. That happens. And it’s ok because you will find the people you will vibe with. Yes, there is no campus to just roam around, but NYU offers you the city. You will find your crowd, believe that.

Academically wise NYU is not the most challenging, and since I am doing engineering, I am more than okay with that. This allows me to have time for myself and my own interests.

Overall, I loved my experience so far.
