Diversity and inclusion are important at George Mason University and is evident by the clubs, programs, and even food options the university provides at every campus. I enjoyed my time at the Fairfax, Va campus due to meeting people from multiple backgrounds. Students from around the world attend George Mason. It offers different cultural and religious organizations and clubs that will help international students feel comfortable and American students learn and garner great respect for different cultures. I loved that you do not have to be from a certain place to be in that cultural club. I am African American and often joined the Filipino Cultural Association meetings. Mason has a high business and political science degree rate. Those studying one or both subjects will find Mason to be a great fit because you will learn to be comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds which is important in those fields.
