I love Earlham community, full of international students (including majority part which are UWC students). The college is very small which I think helped me in transitioning from UWC life into college life. Classes are small what gives the students opportunity to make a close relationship with professors. Moreover, plenty of opportunities to study abroad: Ecuador, Spain, South Africa, Germany, Japan and many others.STEM department is pretty good, many opportunities to do on-campus research. I think social sciences are a little bit underestimated tho. Overall, I don’t regret coming to Earlham. It is my second home.
View moreThe faculty at Earlham is probably my favorite aspect of the college. I don’t think that a lot of people actively take advantage of the Human Resources we receive in our professors in most educational institutions really. Earlham has a small student to faculty ratio so if you really did want to cultivate more personal relationships with your professors, there’s good possibilities for that. The faculty is always willing to invest in you if you demonstrate that you are motivated and willing to put in the work. Finally they really care about your emotional, physical and mental well being which is always a plus considering that college can get very awful.
