Student review [#39074] for Material Science and Engineering
at Clemson University

Overall, Clemson is an amazing university with a family environment. When you become a Clemson Tiger, you become part of a family. The classes are tough, but each of my teachers wanted me to succeed, extending office hours and answering all my questions. There are many ways to get involved at school, from Greek life to varsity sports. I learned so much more about engineering than I think I could have learned at any other engineering school in South Carolina. Going into general engineering allowed me to learn more about certain types of engineering and I decided to pursue a career in materials science and engineering. I’m very happy with my decision and I appreciate what I’m learning. Besides the academics, the social scene at Clemson is excellent. I have made lots of friends who are in my major as well as other friends who are in completely different majors, but we all have fun together cheering on football games and supporting this great school. Clemson is an amazing school and definitely worth the tuition
