As an online student at Brigham Young University–Idaho pursuing a degree in Applied Health, my experience has been both spiritually enriching and academically fulfilling. One of the standout aspects of BYU–Idaho is how it integrates faith into education, creating an environment where personal growth and academic success go hand in hand. The university’s mission to develop disciples of Jesus Christ is clearly reflected in the way courses are taught and how students interact with each other and faculty. The flexibility of the online program has allowed me to balance my studies with meaningful work experiences. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a mentor for new online students for two years, and this role showed me how deeply the university cares about every student’s journey. Now, as a data enumerator, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute behind the scenes, ensuring student feedback is heard and valued.
