Amazing Teachers, Great Education Program
I can’t say enough how much I love BYU-I. The teachers are wonderful and incredibly supportive, and most of them really try hard to get to know each student. They call on you by name and often are flexible with emergencies and special situations. The classes are well organized and often include lots of conversation and chances to explore the material on your own terms. The Elementary Education department is especially excellent, and give many opportunities to plan lessons, practice teaching, and then reflect and receive feedback from both teachers and peers.
