As a Neuroscience Major at Binghamton University, it was a great experience for me! There are numerous research labs at this school, and students can participate in a variety of health-related extracurricular activities. Students can begin preparing for research presentations as freshmen thanks to initiatives like FRI. Additionally, because Binghamton is a research university, practically all of the professors have access to a research laboratory, offering undergraduates a wide range of research opportunities. Additionally, the region is home to a number of hospitals, making it simple for pre-med and pre-pa students to obtain employment and internship opportunities. Additionally, there are numerous clubs that engage with peers and local officials to improve healthcare in the Binghamton area. Despite Binghamton’s rigorous academic program, I nevertheless saw that most students were able to maintain a remarkable balance between their academic and social lives.
