I love the theater program. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in whichever area of theater you are most passionate about as we produce a minimum of twelve shows per semester. The ASU has three theaters: The Galvin Playhouse (MainStage shows), The Lyceum Theater and The Prism Theater (run by students). Since theater is all about performance, a lot of time is spent memorizing rules, creating designs and rehearsing scenes. The professors are all very helpful and are always willing to meet every now and then, even for a cup of coffee. I have made great friendships with many of my teachers and they continue to give me help and advice even though I am no longer in their classes. The program also offers specializations in theatrical and technical theater. If you choose to pursue a concentration, you must take additional courses to meet the concentration requirements.
