The best university worldwide—or perhaps even in NC—is Appalachian State! The professors are essentially your best friends because they want you to succeed and will do everything in their power to help if you are willing to put in the work. It is a place where you will grow and connect with people from all over the world. Additionally, Boone is recognized for its breathtaking environment, making it the ideal location if you enjoy being outside. In the highlands, it can be rather cold, but the changing of the seasons is absolutely stunning. The inhabitants of App give you the impression that you’re not too far from home! I absolutely love it here.
