Throughout my entire time in education, I have never received as much support as I have at the University of Worcester. It is far enough away for me to grow independently, while still being close enough to my family whenever I miss home. The smaller class sizes allow me to receive guidance from my lecturers that is tailored to my individual way of studying. Finally, the local area has some amazing places to explore, such as the Malvern Hills. I can’t wait to finish my undergraduate degree here.

I am a first year Physiotherapy student at the University of Worcester and I have loved my time there so far! One of the main reasons which I chose Worcester is because of the safe and homely feel that both the university and the town give me. One of my friends once compared Worcester to a “Sunday morning” and I couldn’t have described the relaxed atmosphere in a better way. Onsite security and free buses from the town on student nights mean that I have always felt reassured and safe on campus and in town, particularly after late student nights. The university for me has a strong community feel due to the smaller class sizes, which means that I am able to get more support from my lecturers and tutors when I need it, compared to larger universities where I feel like people can get lost in larger class numbers. I am involved in one of the sports societies at the university and I have been impressed with the amazing facilities that are available.
