There were a wide variety of different subjects, most of which were very interesting. There were numerous clubs and societies, including an archaeological society, which was useful for forming bonds with my fellow students. To be honest the most useful parts of my degree were the excavations, of which there were a few each year, but I feel I was reasonably well prepared for the challenges I met during my career.

Everyone knows each other as the university is smaller compared to others, and has a wonderful mixture or modern and historic (more so historic) architecture. Very beautiful and peaceful city, would happily live in Winchester.
