at University of Loughborough

Loughborough University is situated in the small(ish) town of Loughborough. Because of this, the student experience is a unique one. You get to know everybody and you know what events people will be going to. It’s great for being social, making friends and memories. I study geography which, despite covid, has been a really interactive course. The lectures are always on hand to offer extra support and with them doing their own research, the content is usually up to date and engaging. The university offers the chance to do a placement year. This is something I did myself and feel made me more employable. I would recommend Loughborough as it becomes a sort of home away from home. It is great for socialising, especially if you love sports. But it is also a top-class uni and makes you feel welcome, whatever your background may be.
