The University provided me with everything I have needed in order to develop my skills and improve as a person. The Students’ Union is brilliant, with a lot to offer on the table: there are over 100 societies, plenty of other activities to do, such as charitable events, events for International Students, or even partying over there, since the Union would turn into a club 3 nights a week.
Accommodation wise – the university provided plenty of space for students (first year students have a guaranteed place) and for all backgrounds. There are accommodation halls which are cheap, such as Falk Egg, which has also been declared the best Uni Hall in the UK, and other which are more expensive, such as Claudia Parsons, which is also the newest one available.
The library is huge and offers plenty of material for students to research – the downside is that it could get crowded during exam periods; however, during exam period the library is open 24/7, which is great, because if you want to do an all nighter you have a perfect place to go to. Furthermore, there are other places to study around campus, which is great, because you can avoid crowded places.
The lectures are delivered in a clear manner, everything also being posted on the Learn page of the course; the lecture halls are large and comfortable.
