I graduated with a Ba(Hons) degree in Art and Media in 2014. Having studied at Duncan of Jordanston, University of Dundee for 4 years I can definitely say my time there helped me graduate to become a confident professional in the field of Art and Media. I have since worked with many galleries and online platforms. Studying at DJCAD gave me the confidence and skills to pursue a wide range of roles. I would recommend!

View moreHistory at the University of Dundee challenges students to examine history from a variety of perspectives and cultures. Examining colonialism and decolonisation in the study of history itself. Students are given a huge variety of areas to explore. One of my personal favourite modules has been America in the 60s which involved exploring not just the political climate, but how the public reshaped America through activism and the civil rights movements. Lectures guide students in various assessments through exams essays and oral presentations. Overall the skills I have gained from this course are not only useful for a career in history but transferable to a variety of career pathways.
View moreI learned a lot in my program as an exploration of new technology and for me, the blended learning was a brand new experience also.
My professors were well efficient in explaining the concepts and I used to participate actively in the class.
What I did not like about myself was that I was afraid of giving exams on MS word and using excel to solve academic problems but later the feeling was amazing that I overcome my fear and felt accomplished.
I realised one thing from my experience we can’t value our skill and capabilities unless we conquered the inner fear which stops us from growing!
View moreI like how you can learn more about real-life skills that I can use later on in life such as statistics. Economics is a general subject that can be broadened to do anything. The school is also very helpful and if I ever need help with something all I need to do is ask.
