Let’s be honest, we’ve all heard of the partying ‘fun’ rep that Bristol has- and it lives up to its name. But I have found Bristol also has loads of stuff to do in the city to escape studying too.
My experience was slightly tainted due to my mental health. Although the University tried to help, it was clear there is still more that could be provided to support students in this aspect.
However, i will say that the tutors have always been so understanding and easy to talk to when things did get hard, so I cannot fault that. I think it is more the processes within which they deal with mental health issues.
But I loved bristol as a whole because of how the uni was integrated into the city and you really do meet some of your best friends here.
